Michelle the Pet Sitter is an insured (including a Pet Care Surety Bond & Special Property of Others) pet sitting company located in Frisco, Texas; owned and operated by me - Michelle Bollinger. Established in 2006.

Do you care for cats living outside of Frisco, Texas?

I'm sorry to say "no". So if your address has the word "Frisco" in it, please keep reading. Zip codes 75035 and 75034 are my only service area. The only exception is, I am unable to service the small area past FM 423 towards Lake Lewisville.

So just what exactly is a "pet sitter"? What does that mean?

I am a member of a select group of dedicated professionals who realize many cats just don't tolerate being away from home and in a strange environment very well. I treat your cats as I do mine. I would much rather my Bailey be able to lounge about at home, as I'm sure you do as well. I travel to your home once or twice per day to care for your cats.

What do you do during your visits to my home?

After bringing in your mail, I'll greet your cats. If they don't want to come out, I'll search for them to see if they're okay. Also I scoop litter boxes daily so I can monitor their health. After that I'll water plants, bring in the mail, etc. Then some more love if they prefer. My typical visit is approximately half an hour.

Will you be able to operate my security system?

Security systems are no trouble at all, I've had one myself for years.

Will you pick up my mail, water my plants and perform basic swimming pool maintenance?

Of course, that's part of the service I provide. Bringing in the mail/packages, newspapers, door flyers and watering the average amount of plants. If you are a plant-nut and have lots of pots, there might be an extra fee. I can watch the pool skimmers too.

How do you keep all your appointments straight?

For accuracy, convenience and security I utilize PowerPetSitter online software created by a pet sitter, for pet sitters. I send you a summary via email of your visits and ask you to confirm the accuracy.

When out of school our child does accompany me often, so all pets I care for should able to be around children.

I began this adventure in 2006 to fulfill my dream of caring for family pets full-time while maintaining a flexible schedule so I can be a great wife and mother. A born pet lover naturally; I was born and raised in North Texas (never lived anywhere else, why would I?) and we called Frisco our home in 2004. I am very blessed to have many families who have agreed to share their happiness with my service. Just let me know and I will send you this list of gracious clients.

Being a pet sitter requires more than just a love of pets; dedication, organization, and experience are also required. I acquired two years of professional pet care experience while employed by North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital during my college years. I have been a professional pet sitter for three years, therefore I have a combined total of over five years experience in professional pet care.

Small animal sitting* = Cats, ferrets, small birds, hedgehogs, etc

$16 per visit, for one pet

$17 per visit, for two pets

$18 per visit, for three pets, etc...

One or two visits per day

* pets sharing the same cage count as one pet
